George Brown College's Centre for Continuous Learning has been a leader in CAD training in the Greater Toronto Area since the late 1980's when it first started offering training in AutoCAD.
We are constantly evolving to address new technology and the Centre for Continuous Learning's CAD program has expanded over the years to now include training in the 12 distinct courses for Autodesk products that you see listed in the menu bar on the right.
We have 300 to 400 students enrolled in the Fundamentals of AutoCAD Certificate program during any of the year's four semesters, training students, architects, engineers and professionals from around the world.
In the past fouteen years our instructors have delivered over twelve thousand courses of CAD training in various subjects ranging from introductory 2D drawings to advanced 3D renderings, including architectural walkthroughs, and mechanical assembly analysis animations.
The latest page in the evolution of the CAD training program, is the development of Distance Education versions of the CAD courses that are offered in house at the Toronto College. Classes are facilitated by internet communication and DVD videos of all the lectures and demonstrations that are normally delivered on campus. The online versions of our CAD courses have increased accessibility to students not only in the Toronto area, but around the world. See Onlne Training for more detailed information.
