In this Advanced AutoCAD training class, students will learn productivity-enhancing drawing techniques and team-based drawing features. New concepts include: presentation drawing using fills and colour, advanced detailing methods using multiple views and layouts, blocks and symbol libraries, and advanced annotation techniques including tables, attributes, and fields. Students will also learn how to add colour images to their drawings and work with external references on large scale projects in a team environment.

$547.00 - Includes 2 DVD set containing video demonstrations, lecture notes, and sample files as well as all course material, access to registered area of CAD web site and e-mail support from instructor.

Note: Free Autodesk software is made available to all students registered in an online CAD course.

Prerequisites

CADE 9072 or CADE 9082 (AutoCAD I - Introductory 2D)

Online courses are not constrained by semester dates. This is a continuous intake course that can be started on any day of the year.

Courses may be completed as quickly as the student desires within a four month period following the student registration date.

Technical Requirements

  • A Windows-based computer with DVD drive and internet access. Any computer built within the last three years should meet the minimum hardware requirements. Advanced modeling courses may have higher hardware requirements.
  • Mac computers can be used if they have a Windows operating system installed.
  • Access to a recent version of the appropriate software. As a special bonus to our distance education students, a full range of current student software is available through our partners. A special link will be sent to students who register in an online CAD course providing access to Revit, Inventor, AutoCAD Architecture and more.
  • Note: Free Autodesk software is made available to all students registered in an online CAD course.
