The distance education CAD training courses are virtually identical to the CAD courses delivered in a traditional classroom on Campus.
Each course is comprised of 16 separate lessons, covering topics from the basic interface of the software to the most advanced topics that the class has to offer.
A single lesson is subdivided into several concepts, each of which is covered in a set of lecture notes, sample drawings, video lecture demonstration, and tutorial exercises.
Each lesson also includes several practice exercises, as well as a drawing or modeling assignment,
A unique and invaluable component of our Distance Education training courses are Multimedia training videos, available on DVD. Each DVD contains lectures and demonstrations for every lesson in each course. These videos contain sophisticated screen capture movies showing the same techniques normally delivered in the demonstration portion of a typical on-campus class, with the added benefit of being able to pause, repeat, and replay the demonstration as many times as desired.

The videos for the AutoCAD 1 course were recorded with AutoCAD 2008. The AutoCAD 2 course was recorded using AutoCAD 2006 but is virtually identical in appearance to AutoCAD 2007 and AutoCAD 2008.. The videos for the AutoCAD 3 and AutoCAD 4 courses were recorded using AutoCAD 2007 and this version or AutoCAD 2008 is required by the student in order to create the exercises for the level 3 and 4 courses.
